The Great Movie Post redux
I originally made a post like this 5 years ago.

Today I thought, "I kind of love my ridiculous collection...I should probably inflict it on others."
I think half of the reason to own movies is to be able to loan them out, so please feel free to ask if you're in my area (or, at least, I could see you a couple times a year).

* = blu-ray
++ = I could part with this, want a free movie?

If you really don't want the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, I'll take it off your hands. I'm using your list to update my Netflix queue. :)

momma bear

It's yours lady!
I appreciate that it's a good movie and all...but it never really resonated with me. I feel that way about a lot of movies from the 1960's.
This kid is running out of room for new stuff.

I love me some netflix...my queue is currently a couple of years long.

I love my collection of movies too, although I need to pare down as well - get rid of the "impulse buys" that aren't really worth keeping, pass on the movies that I will probably never watch again. I need to make a good list and actually take stock of what I have.

P.S. Netflix is the bomb. My queue is always within 5 of being maxed out. :)

I love your movie taste!
I bought Hot Fuzz yesterday and was kind of bummed that there's no one to witness those little quirky victories.

I've probably given away 5 or so movies before I made this list and there are a few without ++ that I could probably also part with.

Also, I have two Music & Lyrics...oh $5 bin, what have you done to me?
I've tried to avoid really buying new movies for a year or so (there's only one from 2009 up there), because I'm running out of room and it's not like I have people over all the time like I did in college.

I love strange low-budget indie films, but I've kind of been bombing out lately on Netflix. Can we be quirky and not totally depressing and demoralizing and "life-is-an-epic-black-hole-of-suffering"-ing? Please?

Yay, Hot Fuzz!

I actually don't have room for all my DVDs. They're doubled up on shelves. When I move to a better apartment, I'll be able to work on finding a better storage solution, but now it's not really worth it.

Netflix is working out really well for me, for the most part. Between that and my DVR (and regularly-scheduled programming), I've got plenty of viewing options. I haven't ventured too far away from stuff I already knew I wanted to see, though.
